In Grammar Level Latin B, students continue their Latin adventure, focusing on parsing verbs, nouns and adjectives as well as labeling the parts of speech in a Latin sentence. While developing their knowledge and love of the Latin language, students continue to reinforce their understanding of the English language and practice the scholarly habits of the mind that benefit them in all areas of learning.

Topics include: Latin vocabulary and English derivatives, the third verb conjugation, the third noun declension, first and second adjective declensions; cardinal and ordinal numbers; identifying and labeling parts of speech and parts of the sentence; labeling, parsing and translating sentences; and reading short Latin passages.

Prerequisites: Grammar Latin A or equivalent

Homework Habits: Students typically spend 1-2 hours a week memorizing vocabulary and completing grammar exercises.
