Grammar Latin C
This final Latin primer course for grammar school students prepares students for Secondary Latin 1. Students apply all that they have learned in grammar-stage Latin to successfully label and translate sentences while exploring Roman history and culture in their Latin readers.
Topics include: Latin vocabulary and English derivatives, the fourth verb conjugation, the fourth and fifth noun declensions, the second and third adjective declensions, proficiently parsing and translating verbs in the present and perfect system, identifying and labeling parts of speech and parts of the sentence; labeling, parsing and translating Latin sentences; reading short Latin passages.
Prerequisites: Grammar Latin B or equivalent
Homework Habits: Students typically spend 1-2 hours a week memorizing vocabulary and completing grammar exercises.
