Students in this course will be introduced to topics from physics and chemistry encouraging them in awe and wonder as they explore the forces at play in the world around them. Using a mastery-based approach, emphasis is placed on developing organized study and problem-solving skills. Through a variety of lab activities, students regularly make and record observations, describe experiments, present data and engage with questions about outcomes. Evaluating consistently from a biblical worldview, they will consider order and design, the nature of science and scientific modeling, and scientific theories.
