All current students and their families are invited to join us in Austin for Link 2015 featuring the first ever Wilson Hill Academy graduation ceremony.  There will also be plenty of typically Austin activities and time to “link up” with your virtual classmates. #Link2015

4 – 8 p.m.  Registration – Lone Start Court Hotel Lobby. Dinner on your own.

8 – 8:30 p.m.  Bat Watching from the Congress Avenue Bridge Millions of Mexican Free-Tailed bats live under the Congress Avenue Bridge; they fly at dusk every day in the summer. See website for parking instructions.

10 a.m. – 1 p.m.   Field Day with Picnic Lunch provided – Hyde Park Quarries

Dress: LINK Team T-shirt, athletic shoes. Bring: Something to sit on (picnic blanket, camp chairs, beach towel)

5 p.m.   Graduation Ceremony, BBQ Dinner, & Dance – Pecan Grove at the Salt Lick. Travel past the main entrance to Salt Lick BBQ and continue beyond the restaurant.  Cross over the creek and take the 1st right turn. Join us by the creek. Address: RM 1826 Driftwood, TX 78619


Dress: Appropriate for a Graduation Ceremony, Dinner & Dance

9 a.m.         Fun Run along Town Lake (2, 3, 5, 7 and 10 mile runs/walks) – Meet at the SE Corner of Congress Avenue and Caesar Chavez; text Bob Donaldson (512-680-2595) if you plan to be there. There is a commuter train from the Domain (hotel) to the Convention Center, a short walk to the meeting spot – see hotel desk for information.

10 a.m. – 2 p.m.  Park Day & Swimming with Picnic Lunch provided – Zilker Park, the Pavillion at Barton Springs Pool, 2201 Barton Springs Road, Austin, TX 78746

Activities: Walk around Lady Bird Lake, hike the Barton Creek Greenbelt, Nature Center, Ziilker Garden Center, playscape, train, swimming at Barton Springs (if it is open – it has been closed due to recent flooding)

Dress: Casual, Swimsuit (there will be changing areas), good walking shoes if you’d like to hike along the greenbelt or around the lake

Bring: Beach towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, dry clothes if you plan to swim
