Amelia Hess
Amelia is a Wilson Hill Academy graduate, and we are delighted to welcome this accomplished student to our faculty. Amelia graduated with honors from Wilson Hill Academy and was a recipient of the Scott Baker Senior Thesis Award in 2021. She is completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Health Science at Oregon Institute of Technology, where she has worked as a teaching assistant in General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry courses.
Amelia loves to see her students achieve the satisfaction of mastering mathematics. She deeply desires to equip each of them to confidently pursue higher math and science classes. Most of all, Amelia wants to show her students that the beauty and order in mathematics ultimately come from our beautiful and orderly God.
She now lives in beautiful southern Oregon with her husband and baby. When not snuggling her baby, she loves to play the guitar, read a good book, or take a walk.
